| Everything we buy now seems mass produced. Un-original. Far too many things have no character. I love things that aren't absolutely perfect. Isn't it wonderful to hold something in your hands and know that one hundred other people don't have it too? Like a handwritten letter from years ago, a ticket stub from the movie you saw on your first date, or an old black and white photograph of your mother when she was just a young girl in pigtails. I've always loved old photographs. And I've always loved creating things. Sometimes I have to stop myself from adding "just one more thing" to a design. Each piece is handcrafted and quite unique. Hours are spent looking for just the right photo, charm or perfect bead. Each photo charm is hand soldered, some with patina added to give a vintage, aged look. And though most pieces are large, they are very lightweight! Let's face it, no one wants something that everyone else has. We all want to be unique. I want my clients to have something special. To be able to wear one of my creations and say, "No one else in the world has this. No one." So come in and browse a while and see what's "you". Each piece is fun, eclectic and whimsical. For something really different, go through your old photographs and let me create a custom piece for you. It's what I love to do. |
